
The not so often seen ceiling of the Saxon Church on the Albury estate, taken after the annual carol service by candle light on Christmas Eve. Followed by minced pies and mulled wine served in the graveyard in the lovely twilight of lanterns.
While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see. (Dorothea Lange)
