While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see.

Durham Cathedral
The shadowy silhouettes of Durham Cathedral as the last rays of the day ebb away. Durham is a beautiful and historic city which can be equally enjoyed on balmy summer days or chilly winter ones, like this.
